♻️Global Recycling Day♻️
Our children learned the importance of recycling and protecting the planet’s natural resources - they learned how recycling helps reduce waste, save energy, save fuel to adopt more sustainable habits in everyday life. We had such a lovely time celebrating 🌍 Global Recycling Day! 💚
Our day included:
Creating a beautiful picture of Earth 🌏 using sticking and gluing materials, we looked at picture of Earth and spoke about what we can do to help the planet”.
📦 used cardboard and paint 🎨 to create beautiful flower creations, ensuring we are talking about natural materials and how we can use them in different ways 🌺
We created our very own recycling bins ♻️
and encouraged the children to place the correct items in them to support their understanding and knowledge.
We used materials to create an obstacle course to support the children’s physical development and talked about how an item can be used for more than 1 purpose 🏃♀️🏃➡️
We also spoke about different materials such as plastic, glass, cardboard and metal🥛🧃🥄 📦 📏 and we looked at how we could reuse them.
We had a fun day learning about Recycling ♻️ and building on our knowledge and understanding. ... See MoreSee Less

We are so proud to celebrate our wonderful Ofsted report — a true reflection of the safe, nurturing and high-quality environment we create every day. 🌟
To mark the occasion, we enjoyed a special baking day! 👩🍳
As our children measured, mixed and decorated, they weren’t just making treats — they were building confidence, developing early maths skills, strengthening fine motor control, and learning to work together.
Because in the early years, every experience — even baking — helps shape growing minds.
